Not to show the rooms. The rooms are on the booking page. A film exists to transfer a feeling.
Most hotel films are inventories. Pool, suite, breakfast, sunset, logo. They answer a question no guest is asking, because the booking engine already answered it with better photographs and a floor plan.
A film is the only asset you own that can carry atmosphere — the temperature of the stone at seven in the evening, how quiet the corridor is, what the place sounds like when nobody is performing for the camera. That is what a guest is actually choosing between when they hold two properties in two browser tabs.
Which is why we shoot at the hours that are inconvenient, and why the best sequence in a film is often the one with no room in it at all.
